Yolda Kiosk

Travelling between Switzerland and Turkey

The travelling exhibition YOLDA KIOSK – Travelling between Switzerland and Turkey shows ten video portraits of women and men who live and have lived in Switzerland and Turkey. Their biographies reflect a creative approach to migration experiences and a new self-image. The exhibition tour in Turkey and Switzerland was accompanied by a publication and events.
The YOLDA KIOSK was shown in public spaces in the cities and municipalities of Turkey and Switzerland in which the dialogue partners live and have lived. In cooperation with local partners, the association Yolda – Unterwegs organised events, the ‘YOLDA Table Talks’. The guests sat at long tables, listened to speeches on the topics of ‘Potential Migration’, ‘Migration and Creativity’, ‘Political Participation’, ‘School and Migration’ and ‘Naturalisation’ and listened to music, ate, drank and discussed. The dialogue partners took part in the events as contributors.
