Colonialism à la Suisse

The entangled colonial and migration history between Switzerland and the DR Congo since 1876

The aim of the interdisciplinary exhibition project «Colonialism à la Suisse» is to trace the history of the colonial and migration ties between Switzerland and the DRC, which remain largely unknown to this day.
Artists and scientists from Switzerland and the DRC will provide an insight into their work at the Kin Art Studio from August 20 to 22, 2025. During these three days, experts from various disciplines will present ideas and stories, discuss, reflect, and imagine a multi-perspective and decolonial exhibition on the subject.
